Authentication mechanism absence or evasion - OTP

Description

During the registration process of a new user, it is necessary to confirm the 6-digit verification code sent to the associated cellular number, however, it is possible to evade this mechanism since this code is not validated, being valid any combination, even if it does not comply with the specified number of digits.

Impact

• Create unauthorized users of the system.
• Impersonate users.

Recommendation

Validate on the server side that the code entered by the user, corresponds to the one generated by the system.
