Talk to a Pentester
Plan required: Advanced
Role required: User, Vulnerability Manager or Group Manager
You may require expert guidance to understand the most complex vulnerabilities reported in your group. To cater to this need, Fluid Attacks offers the feature Talk to a Pentester, available exclusively with the Advanced plan. It involves a video conference with a member of the team of pentesters to discuss the issues you need assistance with. This consultation provides valuable insights into the workings of these vulnerabilities and their potential impact, enabling your team to figure out how to efficiently remediate them. To request a Talk to a Pentester session, follow these steps:
- Go to the group where you need assistance. Only groups subscribed to the Advanced plan are eligible.

- Click the Help button in the collapsible menu and select Talk to a Pentester in the right-side bar.

Alternatively, click on the button at the bottom of the Vulnerabilities section.

The Talk to a Pentester option is also available in the Locations and Description sections of types of vulnerabilities.
- A pop-up window appears asking if you have reviewed the relevant vulnerability documentation. If you select that you have not read the documentation, you are presented with a button that links to our database .

If you have read the documentation but still have questions, you may click on the Schedule a Talk to a Pentester button.

- In the pop-up window, view the calendar availability, select a date and time that suits you and then click on Next.

- Enter the required details for the appointment. You can optionally add guests from your team who you want to join the call.

To get the vulnerability URL , go to Locations , click on the vulnerability and then on the link icon.
- Click the Schedule Event button.
After scheduling the session, a pop-up window displays the appointment details, including the assigned expert’s name. You also receive an email invitation to the appointment, which can be added to your Google Calendar.
You can also access Talk to a Pentester from Jira issues thanks to the Jira integration.
