Introduction to Sorts
Last updated: Sep 30, 2026
Artificial intelligence (AI) changes many fields. It gives tools that increase human capabilities. Fluid Attacks uses AI to give more value to its customers. With AI, the Fluid Attacks pentesters report vulnerabilities in your applications earlier. AI also makes possible the software features that suggest fixes automatically.
File prioritization with Sorts
Fluid Attacks developed an AI tool called Sorts. Sorts finds the probability that each file in a Git repository has security vulnerabilities. The pentesters then test the files with the highest probability first. Sorts analyzes the information about vulnerable files on the Fluid Attacks platform. It uses machine learning to train a model that predicts the vulnerability probability of files. The model evolves with new data.
Ways to use Sorts
You can use Sorts in two ways:
- Integrated with the Advanced plan: When you subscribe to the Advanced plan, a certified pentesting team uses Sorts to find vulnerabilities faster. This helps most in repositories with hundreds or thousands of files. Sorts tells the team which files to test first.
- As a CLI tool: You can use Sorts as a command-line interface (CLI) tool. It analyzes your source code repository and makes a report in JSON or CSV. You can also configure the tool to run in your CI/CD pipeline. The Sorts user guide gives the detailed instructions.
