Google Workspace

Rationale
Google Workspace is Fluid Attacks' main productivity and collaboration tool.
The main reasons why we chose it over other alternatives are the following:
- It is an all-in-one solution that provides many essential features like email, calendar, chat, meetings, and cloud storage, among others.
- It is completely web-based, meaning that users do not have to install additional software and all information is always updated on the cloud.
- It is familiar to most people, as services like Gmail and Drive are very popular for personal use.
- It integrates with Okta, allowing us to keep authorization centralized.
Alternatives
The following alternative was considered but not chosen for the following reasons:
Microsoft Teams: Many of its functionalities required users to download software to their computers, which caused information to be dispersed as employees could download files, edit them locally and never re-upload to the cloud. User experience was poor, as basic operations like sharing a directory were not intuitive. It was a little cheaper.

We use Google Workspace for the following:
- Email (Gmail)
- Chat (Google Chat)
- Calendar (Google Calendar)
- Analytics (Google Analytics)
- Cloud storage and documents (Google Drive)
- Meetings (Google Meet)
