Cloud connection
Last updated: Sep 30, 2026
Fluid Attacks can access your resources with a cloud connection. Strong encryption and strong authentication keep the connection safe. The two follow the security standards of modern connection protocols. The connection is also fast and reliable.
High-level architecture
The architecture of this option keeps the data safe and the exchange fast. This is an overview:
- Fluid Attacks connects from different devices, such as computers, mobile devices, or workstations.
- An Internet Service Provider (ISP) starts the connection. The ISP is the first point of entry to the global network.
- The data travels through the Internet. Routing protocols move the data to its destination.
- Routers and servers on the path transfer the data across the connected networks.
- HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure) protects the data in transit on the web.
- SSH (Secure Shell) gives an encrypted connection for remote operations. It is useful for system administration and file transfer.
- The data reaches the target servers and resources. These include web servers, databases, and cloud applications.
- Cloud infrastructure gives fast access and scales with the needs of the user.
- The server answers the user through the same secure connection. This completes the cycle.

Minimum requirements
Your resources must have an Internet connection.
Service limitations
The quality and the stable operation of the Internet connection set the performance and reliability of the service.
Authentication
This connection supports these authentication mechanisms:
| OAuth | SSH | HTTPS |

Connection mechanisms
Fluid Attacks offers three secure connectivity options: Cloud, Egress, and Connector (ZTNA), ensuring safe access to your resources. Learn their benefits.
Egress connection
Securely connect Fluid Attacks to your resources using Egress. Configure your firewall and whitelist Fluid Attacks static IPs to allow security testing.
