Rationale

Anthropic gives the artificial intelligence capabilities of the AI-assisted remediation guides and fixes.

These are the primary reasons why Fluid Attacks selected it and not other alternatives:

• It has good performance in hard code analysis and code generation tasks.
• It has much documentation, and prompt engineering guides and examples that make the results better.
• Its models are available through Amazon Bedrock. Thus, Fluid Attacks can use centralized security controls, guardrails, and one API.
• It gives enterprise security and privacy controls.

OpenAI

OpenAI also gives capable artificial intelligence models, and Fluid Attacks uses it for other workloads. For the use cases that Anthropic supports, its integration with Amazon Bedrock gives the controls that Fluid Attacks must have.

Self-hosted open-source models

• This alternative has high maintenance costs.
• It does not give access to proprietary capabilities.
